–NOVEL–

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the 2026 Pikes Peak Marathon—the oldest continually held race in the United States—The Burnout and The Race is a gripping psychological thriller that follows Cory Flynn as he embarks on a journey through the shadow of the Colorado Rockies. Driven by a desperate attempt to find purpose and healing, Cory pushes beyond his limits, haunted by anxiety and guilt from past tragedies. By drawing on the epic themes of love, conflict, and destiny, the tale offers a suspenseful, passionate story that promises escapism for those who seek adventure and the thrill of a journey that reexamines the meaning between merely surviving and truly living.

"I ran to be free; I ran to avoid pain; I ran to feel pain; I ran out of love and hate and anger and joy."
